The Vice President of Orlando provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Stevens Construction's Orlando operations. This position is responsible for driving sustainable growth, strengthening client and community relationships, overseeing project execution and financial performance, and developing a high-performing team. The Vice President works closely with executive leadership, preconstruction, operations, and business development teams to identify opportunities, secure new work, manage organizational risk, and ensure projects are delivered in alignment with Stevens Construction's standards for safety, quality, service, and profitability.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the commercial construction industry, often with a background in project management or leadership roles.
  • Proven success in business development and a strong network within the construction and local business community.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to build and manage high-performance teams.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience serving on boards and participating in community organizations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex issues within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
  • A commitment to safety and quality standards in construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
