A rapidly growing real estate development company is seeking a Development Project Manager to oversee the site development and infrastructure delivery of large-scale residential projects across the Southeast.
This is a unique opportunity to join a vertically integrated developer where you'll work closely with land acquisition, engineering, development, and construction teams throughout the full project lifecycle. Unlike a traditional consulting role, you'll be involved in seeing projects move from raw land through construction and final delivery.

Position OverviewThe Development Project Manager will play a key role in managing site development and horizontal construction activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
Working closely with engineers, contractors, surveyors, construction teams, and regulatory agencies, you'll help ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with development objectives.
Project involvement may include:
- Large-scale residential communities
- Site infrastructure development
- Utility installation and coordination
- Stormwater management systems
- Roadway and access improvements
- Amenity and recreational facilities
- Horizontal construction and site development programmes
- Manage site development activities from construction mobilisation through project closeout.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and development teams to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and field progress.
- Support site issue resolution and maintain project momentum.
- Coordinate inspections, approvals, and project documentation.
- Review and manage technical project documentation.
- Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, inspection reports, field documentation, and as-built records.
- Track project deliverables and maintain accurate project records.
- Support contractor coordination and construction progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, surveyors, and regulatory authorities.
- Participate in project meetings and construction milestone reviews.
- Coordinate permitting, inspections, and infrastructure turnover requirements.
- Communicate project updates and risks to development leadership.
- Monitor project performance across multiple active developments.
- Prepare status reports and communicate key project updates.
- Track utility installations, infrastructure completion, surveying activities, and construction milestones.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
- 5+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, construction, site development, or surveying.
- Strong understanding of site development and infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence.
- Experience working for a developer, contractor, engineering consultant, or site development firm.
- Understanding of horizontal construction and land development processes.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Construction administration and project coordination.
- Site development and infrastructure projects.
- Project scheduling and documentation management.
- Construction and design software familiarity.
- Microsoft Office Suite and project management platforms.
- Understanding of engineering plans, permitting, and construction documents.
