Job Summary: Coordinates project timelines and resource allocation independently to ensure efficient execution of plans and schedules. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align project milestones with organizational objectives and client expectations. Analyzes project data and progress to identify risks, propose standard solutions based on precedents or analytics, and support informed decision-making. Documents, tracks, and communicates schedule constraints, conflicts, and issues to the project team to support timely resolution and minimize impacts to project delivery.
Maintains clear communication channels to facilitate transparency and timely updates for stakeholders. Supports continuous improvement by collecting feedback and lessons learned into future planning processes.
- Develops and maintains detailed project schedules informed by precedents, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and deadlines.
- Monitors progress against established timelines, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or resource constraints.
- Coordinates with internal and external partners to gather input, resolve standard and varied scheduling conflicts, and optimize resource utilization.
- Communicates schedule updates and changes to relevant stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Documents general schedule changes and maintains accurate records to support project tracking and reporting.
- Assists in integrating leading practices and lessons learned to improve future scheduling processes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or a related field required.
