Job Title:

On Air Talent (Part-Time) – Orlando Radio

Cox Media Group Orlando Radio is looking for a Bilingual Part‑Time On‑Air Host for Hits 96.5. The ideal candidate can connect with people on‑air, in person, and on social media. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, be team players, and work within format parameters to maximize ratings and revenue success while relating to the Central Florida lifestyle. The host should be a great storyteller, understand forward momentum in a PPM world, be immersed in pop‑culture, and actively use social media and video to tease and deliver compelling content with excellent pacing and timing.

• Show preparation, including format‑related content, pop‑culture and local content.
• Writing and posting web and social media content.
• Writing and delivering commercial or personal endorsement content.
• Hosting regular air shifts and additional voice‑traced shifts as assigned.
• Working closely with the program director to develop relatable content, execute the format, and deliver ratings goals.
• Controlling board operation, including editing phone bits, interviews and other audio.
• Participating in remotes and appearances at station or life‑group functions as assigned.
• Collaborating with sales and promotions to maximize revenue opportunities, including promotions and personal endorsements.

• Fluent Spanish speaking and writing skills.
• At least 1 year of on‑air experience.
• Strong on‑air presence with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of success in ratings and revenue.
• Experience operating all on‑air and production equipment.
• Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition).
• Computer skills for audio delivery and automation systems (Wide Orbit, Audio vault), word processing, audio editing, and web/social media.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and other required times.
• Social media savvy and ready to execute a PPM‑friendly, engaging radio show for Central Florida.

• Experience in Spanish language radio format.
