Position: Post-Production Coordinator Adrenaline Films

Job Overview

At Adrenaline Films, the Post Production Coordinator serves as a client-facing representative of the post‑production team, ensuring a positive, organized, and responsive experience throughout each project. Working closely with and under the direction of the Post Producer, this role manages the workflow of our post‑production process while prioritizing clear communication, maintaining strong client relationships, and coordinating between clients, producers, editors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive client inquiries for post‑production services and send post estimates.
  • Send invoices to clients when projects are completed.
  • Coordinate and manage the post‑production team’s schedules, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across projects, deadlines are met, and any scheduling conflicts are proactively addressed.
  • Keep clients informed of the progress of the projects in post‑production.
  • Oversee long‑form post‑production workflows, including auditing post‑production hours to ensure projects stay within scope and budget.
  • Lead bi‑weekly client meetings to provide transparent updates on progress, address any concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Create and supply links to videos for review, feedback, and delivery.
  • Collect feedback from clients and communicate it to the team; assess impacts on the team’s schedule.
  • Collaborate with vendors to determine rates according to project requirements, which could include stock footage, music licensing, closed captioning, and voice‑over talent.
  • Receive invoices from vendors and freelancers; create POs and send to accounting for processing.
  • Keep up to date on all existing b‑roll and footage from clients.
  • Coordinate translation services and voice‑over services for projects that require other languages.
  • Work closely with the Post Producer to support overall post‑production workflows, with the Post Producer overseeing technical execution, advanced workflows, and departmental infrastructure including shared storage and policies.
Skills & Expectations
  • Client Relations: Maintain a professional and client‑focused approach, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and providing timely updates to support a positive client experience throughout the post‑production process.
  • Post Knowledge: Understand the full post‑production process, workflows, digital distribution methods, and format options.
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Complete tasks in a timely manner, ensure deadlines are met, and juggle multiple projects in different phases of the post‑production process.
  • Attention to Detail: Be detail oriented and follow a project from start to finish, ensuring minimal mistakes to deliver quality content to our clients.
  • Software: Proficiency with post‑production tools, scheduling software, Microsoft Suite, and a general understanding of nonlinear editing programs.
  • Team Workflow: Learn and work within the post‑production team’s workflow and best practices to successfully collaborate as part of a larger team. Help keep editors challenged by varying the type of projects they are working on.
  • Communication and

    Collaboration:

    Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with the rest of the post‑production team, producers, clients, and managers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in film, television production, or related field.
  • 3–5 years working in a professional post‑production environment.
  • Familiar with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite.
