Position: Customer Service (Hourly)

Overview

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone and email
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Enter customer orders received via email or fax
  • Assist Director of Manufacturing with daily production scheduling
  • Print law tags, prepare reports, and distribute same to production floor
  • Process customer credit/debits following accepted SOPs on a daily basis
  • Participation in annual Inventory and other projects as assigned
  • Work closely with corporate accounting and sales to ensure best possible customer service
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service oriented
  • Bilingual (English Primary/Spanish Secondary) Preferred
Pay
  • Minimum $18 per hour based on experience
