Business Admin / Customer Support plays a key role in providing excellent customer service to every customer while working through administrative duties. The Business Admin will be responsible assisting customers by phone, including resolving issues, processing payments, and assisting with service questions. This role will also process customer agreements ensuring they are accurate and complete and working closing with the sales and operations teams.

Admin must meet the customer’s needs through prompt and courteous responses to customer’s inquiries and requests, while demonstrating a strong ability to follow through and ensure tasks are completed thoroughly. Candidate must possess effective problem-solving and analytical skills to process reports supporting business needs, consistently ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all responsibilities.

  • Display a positive attitude and willingness to work with others and assist our customers.
  • Provide an exceptional experience to every customer, every time.
  • Manage account activations, updates, and cancellations, ensuring contract validity, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Able to analyze KPIs and other data points.
  • Process customer portal requests, ensuring timely communication with the customer, sales, and operations.
  • Support pricing and contract adjustments, ensuring accurate records and proper rate changes.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation, ensuring proper billing based on receipts and contractual terms.
  • Answer calls and emails addressing customer inquiries, account issues, and general information about JJ’s Waste and Recycling.
  • Create and maintain credit hold reports for various customer types, ensuring accurate communication with sales and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective research skills including the ability to analyze information and KPI's utilizing excel.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task.

  • Regular in-office attendance 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
