Job Overview

Jacksonville (Lakewood), FL 2777 University Blvd - Pay range: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front‑desk activities: answer phones, assist callers, check members into the system, take prospective members on tours, sign up new members, and calculate rates and monthly payment amounts.
• Assist the Club Manager in counting the drawer as needed.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club: complete daily assignments, prioritize cleaning list, perform walk‑around and bathroom checks, and help with special cleaning projects as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with a passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer‑service skills and ability to exceed member expectations.
• Strong listening skills, able to empathize and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrates diplomacy in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
