Overview

The Carry-On Compliance Agent is responsible for enforcing the airline’s 1+1 carry‑on baggage policy and identifying oversized luggage at designated checkpoint areas. This role ensures passengers comply with carry‑on regulations before entering the boarding area, while maintaining excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce the airline’s 1+1 carry‑on baggage policy consistently and professionally.
  • Identify oversized or excess carry‑on items.
  • Direct non-compliant passengers to the Jet Blue ticket counter for baggage resolution.
  • Monitor and manage the designated compliance area to maintain orderly passenger flow.
  • Provide clear instructions and courteous assistance to passengers regarding baggage policies.
  • Communicate effectively with airline personnel and airport staff regarding operational concerns.
  • Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Report issues, incidents, or customer concerns to supervisors as needed.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume passenger interactions.
  • Prior airport, airline, security, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy airport environment.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment
  • Airport terminal environment.
  • High passenger traffic and continuous public interaction.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods may be required.
