Job Summary

We are seeking a Cost Accountant - Manufacturing for a direct hire opportunity with a long-established, veteran-owned manufacturing organization in Orlando, FL. The Cost Accountant - Manufacturing will support cost analysis, inventory control, ERP data integrity, and financial reporting across multiple manufacturing entities. This role is fully onsite and offers a steady 40-hour work week with no expectation of extended or excessive month-end hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, work-in-process, finished goods, scrap, shrink, and obsolescence.
- Prepare cost reports, margin analysis, variance reporting, and production cost insights to support business decisions.
- Support inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory control processes.
- Partner with engineering and production teams on bill of materials updates, cost improvements, and operational analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX planning, monthly close, journal entries, and audit preparation.
- Maintain and reconcile inventory general ledger accounts while supporting ERP data accuracy and integrity.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $85,000 to $10,000 per year.
