What you will do
  • Primary responsibility for ensuring all architectural needs to open communities and support the business plans are identified, executed and managed.
Responsibilities
  • Collect necessary information, including code interpretations, for introduction of New Home Design into communities.
  • Adheres to established QC process.
  • Responsible for completing scope of work summary for every project.
  • Manages and coordinates standard plan submittals.
  • Coordination of plan maintenance for division needs.
  • Manages and coordinates ARB submittal and approval process.
  • Perform all related CAD duties.
  • Ensure development of compliant working drawings within the Division from both internal and external resources.
  • Provide Architectural Services support as needed, to include but not be limited to:
  • Draft redline markups and plan revisions in AutoCAD.
  • Record and track Division’s plan change requests.
  • Produce all work within the Pulte Drafting Standards and Productivity Tools.
  • Provide supporting documentation of field walks at various stages of construction.
  • Create community specific field support documents.
  • Ensure quality control on all work completed.
  • Assist in quality control review process for a variety of department deliverables, to include but not be limited to:
What you will need
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates degree in Drafting or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction preferred.
  • Related Functional

    Experience:

    Minimum 1 or more years Architectural or Construction experience.
  • Software Skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Design Review Bluebeam, and ACAD preferred. BIM software is a plus.
  • Understanding of Federal & State codes related to residential product preferred.
  • Knowledge of residential construction techniques, construction documents, building codes as well as technical and procedural knowledge of activities related to home building construction, including understanding plans & specs preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean, value engineering and costing principles and practices a plus.
  • Effective communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Remains adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Excels in highly collaborative and fast paced environment.
