UX Designer

POSITION LOCATION: 5 days/week in office

• Pittsburgh, PA

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports the transformation of tasks into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs through the entire experience lifecycle, from the first-time user to the expert.
• Identifies and discovers customer and business needs through contextual inquiries, and generative and quantitative research, and identify solutions to meet those needs.
• Makes decisions of significant customer impact from wide array of possibilities, not limited to the Banking Industry.
• Executes visual, information, interaction, and service design elements of the initiative that meets business and customer needs and delights customers.
• Gauges the usability of new and existing products, and make constructive suggestions for change.

MUST HAVE TECHNICAL

SKILLS:

2yrs+

• Experience working with the Figma suite of design tools (or similar digital prototyping tools)
• Proficient in all stages of prototyping design (low, medium, high fidelity)
• Ability to gather requirements from users and business stakeholders
• Experience working with a design system
• Understanding of accessibility fundamentals
• Ability to validate designs through user testing
• Experience providing actionable feedback to developers, preferably in an Agile environment

FLEX SKILLS / NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with conducting user interviews, research, and analysis to understand user needs
• Understanding of frontend development fundamentals

Candidate must submit an online portfolio/website that demonstrates strong experience in creating end-to-end digital solutions through ideation, user research, wire framing, and design iteration
