Project Architect - Retail
A nationally recognized design firm is seeking a licensed Project Architect to join its Retail Studio in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who is passionate about design excellence, client service, and mentoring teams.
Responsibilities- Lead architectural design and coordinate with engineering disciplines.
- Manage client relationships and support account growth.
- Oversee QA/QC processes, construction documentation review, and document sealing.
- Coordinate consultants and construction administration activities.
- Manage multiple retail projects simultaneously.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Ensure projects meet design, code, and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect required.
- 10+ years of architectural experience.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building codes, and exterior envelope systems.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to sustainable design and high-performance projects.
- Experience with retail, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale development projects preferred.
