  • Additionally, neuro nurse practitioners are on hand to boost your productivity, alleviate burnout, and enhance the quality of care you deliver.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • The new neurologist will manage a maximum of 15 patients per day, ensuring ample time for quality care with up to 45 minutes allocated per patient.
  • Perform neurological exams to diagnose conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests: EMGs required; EEGs desired but not necessary.
  • Prescribe medication and evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Educate patients and their families on neurological conditions and management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure holistic care.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certification in Neurology with EMG experience.
  • Neurophysiology/Neuromuscular Fellowship preferred, but not necessary.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are warmly welcomed, although it’s not a requirement.
  • New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, and we also invite physicians currently completing their fellowship to consider this opportunity.
  • Active and unrestricted Florida medical license or willingness to obtain one.
