Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics Hospitalist to join our team in Central, FL. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring expertise in managing obstetric patients and providing labor and delivery care as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities include overseeing labor and delivery units, providing inpatient consultations, performing obstetrical surgeries, and ensuring the safety and quality of patient care. The position also focuses on maintaining compliance with hospital policies and fostering effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board certification in Obstetrics/Gynecology or eligibility for certification
- Proven skills in labor management, delivery care, and obstetric procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and adherence to hospital protocols
- Knowledge of current medical practices, evidence-based care, and advancements in obstetrics
- Current medical license and hospital credentials for practice in the state of Florida
- Experience in a hospitalist role or a similar setting is preferred
