Hematologist Oncologist, Physician-GU Focus AdventHealth Celebration,Florida

Overview

Advent Health Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join a busy five-physician practice with offices at Advent Health Kissimmee and Advent Health Celebration, just south of downtown Orlando and near the attractions.

• The ideal candidate will have an interest in Genitourinary Cancer but will also continue to manage other hematologic and oncologic conditions across the spectrum
• Rotation of call would include both inpatient and outpatient in equal share with the other physicians.
• Practice will have APRN/PA collaboration both in the inpatient and outpatient settings
• This is a new position to accommodate the growth of the practice and community.
• This physician will support one of the busiest Urologic Oncologic Surgical programs in the country. The existing surgeon recently completed 18,000 robotic prostatectomies
• Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services available at Advent Health Celebration and Kissimmee
• Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials, (including Phase
  1) and tumor boards (daily)
• Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, nutrition etc.
• Extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando

Requirements of the position include:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
