Gastroenterologist - Fatty Liver Disease

Advent Health Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dedicated gastroenterologist to join our team serving the Central Florida community. This role is ideal for a specialist with a focus in hepatology and fatty liver disease to support our extensive general gastroenterology practice. Clinicians will engage in outpatient and inpatient care, endoscopy, and multidisciplinary collaboration at Advent Health Orlando. Opportunities to teach residents and participate in academic and research projects are also available.

• AHMG Gastroenterology features 80+ employed gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers in Central Florida
• Fatty Liver Disease Program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach
• Opportunity to collaborate with specialties including surgery, oncology, transplant, endoscopy, endobariatrics, endocrinology, radiology, pathology, primary care, psychiatry, nutrition, and research

Responsibilities

• See patients in clinic and perform endoscopy
• Provide outpatient and inpatient care
• Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
• Participate in the call schedule and ED call at one hospital
• Teach residents and fellows
• Participate in academic and research projects
• Handle a high-volume case load

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) is required
• Special interest and/or training in Hepatology
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
