Advent Health Orlando is seeking a dynamic, ILD-focused Pulmonologist to join its rapidly growing Advanced Lung Disease Institute and multidisciplinary program. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care across the ILD and sarcoidosis spectrum while collaborating with a robust team of specialists. Clinicians will also engage in clinical research, participate in fellow and APP education, and contribute to program development and future satellite expansions.

- Aligend with a lung transplant program, pulmonary hypertension program, thoracic surgery team, dedicated thoracic radiology services, and rheumatology support
- Clinic supported by APPs and a Pulmonary fellowship program launching in 2026
- Planned expansion with future satellite clinics and remote tele consults in Advent Health community hospitals
- Strong research environment with opportunities for funded institutional and industry-sponsored clinical studies
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced lung disease with an emphasis on ILD in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Deliver specialized patient care in the ILD center in Orlando and participate in the care of sarcoidosis patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of rheumatologists, radiologists, pathologists, advanced lung disease experts, and transplant specialists by engaging in weekly MDD and community MDD
- Provide inpatient care in the ILD consults service, which will include future remote tele consults in many Advent Health community hospitals
- Participate in MICU rotations consisting of 7 days' daytime blocks with no night call
- Engage in clinical research through funded institutional and industry-sponsored studies
- Actively participate in fellow and APP education
- Contribute to program development, protocol creation, and community outreach and education

- Each rotation consists of 7 days' daytime block (no night call)
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility through ABMS or AOA in Pulmonology
- Active FL License, or ability to obtain is a must
- Previous ILD training or work-experience in following ILD patients at a longitudinal ILD clinic
- Spanish speaking skill will be a valuable asset (preferred)
- Priority given to candidates with expertise in lung transplantation
