Lake Highland's Upper School seeks a Social Studies teacher to instruct students according to the prescribed LHP curriculum for the Social Studies courses assigned to the teacher. Anticipated courses include World History and/or United States History. The teacher will perform related teaching tasks and functions such as planning, research, curriculum alignment, assessment, and record-keeping in an efficient and effective manner. As needed, the teacher will also willingly participate in the school community and student co‑curricular activities.

Education/

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Certification or qualification to teach in Social Studies or related area in grades 9‑12 required.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred.
