Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Greater Orlando for a PATH Intl.
-Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for leading therapeutic horseback riding lessons, developing lesson plans tailored to participants' needs, and maintaining a safe riding environment. Additional responsibilities include supervising horse care, training equestrian participants, ensuring proper equipment use, and collaborating with staff, volunteers, and families to foster a positive experience.
- Proficiency in horse care and equestrian skills
- Ability to provide riding instruction and conduct safe, effective lessons
- Strong communication skills to interact with participants, families, and team members empathetically and clearly
- Experience in basic training techniques relevant to therapeutic riding
- Certification as a PATH Intl. therapeutic riding instructor is required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team in an inclusive, participant‑focused environment
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and diverse populations is highly regarded
- Physically capable of working with horses and assisting participants as needed
