Overview
Valencia College is seeking an Assistant Director, Student Development, at the wonderful Osceola Campus.
In this position, you will support the planning, implementation, and assessment of co-curricular programs that promote student engagement and leadership. This role provides campus-based leadership and supervision of Student Development initiatives, including oversight of a campus-based programming budget, and exercises independent judgment in matters of significance.
Key Qualifications & Expectations- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution;
Master’s degree preferred. - Leadership experience in higher education (student affairs, housing, student activities, or related areas).
- Experience planning and delivering student engagement initiatives and events, including large-scale or nonprofit-style programming.
- Budget management experience preferred, including oversight of a programming budget or similar funds.
- Ability to lead and supervise professional, support, and student staff in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
