We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Upper School Spanish Teacher who can teach Spanish at various levels while integrating Christian values into language instruction. The ideal candidate will help students develop language skills, cultural understanding, and a heart for global ministry, all grounded in a biblical worldview.

• Develop and teach Spanish curriculum for high school students, from beginner to advanced levels.
• Integrate Christian principles and biblical perspectives into lessons and discussions on language and culture.
• Promote cross-cultural understanding, fostering an appreciation of the Spanish-speaking world and its diverse cultures.
• Encourage students to use Spanish in practical settings, focusing on communication, service, and ministry opportunities.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, providing personalized feedback and support.
• Lead students in faith-based discussions related to language learning, exploring how language connects people to God’s global mission.
• Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as language clubs, mission trips, or cultural events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s global and Christian education program.

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken, with the ability to teach at all levels.
• Experience teaching Spanish at the high school level, ideally in a Christian environment.
• A strong personal faith in Christ and a desire to use language learning to serve and engage in ministry.
• Knowledge of Spanish-speaking cultures and the ability to make connections between language and Christian service.
• Ability to engage and inspire students in the learning process.
• Active involvement in a local church community.
