Position Overview
The College of Sciences is consistently looking for adjunct faculty to teach in all areas of the college, including film, communication, advertising, and public relations. Adjunct faculty are employed on a semester‑by‑semester basis and compensation is determined by the unit’s adjunct compensation model.
Responsibilities- Teach content for specific courses.
- Meet students weekly in a face‑to‑face, mixed, or online format.
- Use technology, online platforms, tools, and software to support instruction.
- Respond regularly to student course questions throughout the contract period.
An earned master’s degree (undergraduate level teaching) or doctorate degree (graduate level teaching) from an accredited institution in the subject area to be taught or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred QualificationsA highly qualified individual will have strong teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
