Dean of Academic Affairs

Position Summary

We are seeking a Dean of Academic Affairs for a direct hire opportunity in Orlando, FL. The Dean will provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership for the Education Department, ensuring programs meet institutional goals, accreditation expectations, and student achievement standards. This role leads faculty and academic support teams in a collaborative environment focused on retention, attendance, instructional quality, and continuous improvement.

• Lead, organize, and evaluate all facets of the school’s Education Department to support institutional mission, objectives, and academic goals.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual retention goals, as well as the daily student attendance rate goal of 85%.
• Develop and maintain the master schedule for all programs and courses, ensuring appropriate class coverage by instructors, teaching assistants, and staff.
• Recruit, interview, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate faculty, staff, teaching assistants, Registrar, Student Services, and Library/Resource Center personnel.

• Salary: $90,000 per year.
