The Montessori School of East Orlando (MSEO) is a private Montessori school located in East Orlando, Florida. Role DescriptionMontessori School of East Orlando is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Primary Classroom Educator to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Orlando, Florida.
Position placement as either a Primary Teacher or Teacher Assistant will be determined based on each candidate's qualifications, experience, and Montessori training.

The ideal candidate enjoys creating a positive, engaging learning environment for children ages 3 through Kindergarten and is committed to supporting each child's academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing Montessori lessons and classroom activities.
- Assist with lesson preparation, curriculum implementation, and classroom organization.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Supervise students and ensure appropriate student-to-teacher ratios are maintained.
- Observe and support students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Assist with classroom management, transitions, and daily routines.
- Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and administrators.
- Help maintain classroom materials and learning environments in accordance with Montessori principles.
- Collaborate with teachers and administration to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
- Positive attitude, patience, flexibility, and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain a structured and nurturing classroom environment.
- Experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, camp, or other educational settings is preferred.
- Montessori experience or Montessori certification is preferred but not required.
- Early Childhood Education coursework, CDA, or related educational experience is a plus.
- Must be able to meet all state and school background screening requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day.
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Planning and preparation time is included within the scheduled hours
- School-year schedule (summer months off)
- Paid holidays during the school year
- Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and role placement.
- Teacher Assistant positions begin at $15/hour. Montessori-certified Teachers will be discussed during the interview process.

Hiring ProcessQualified candidates will participate in a multi-step interview process, including meetings with classroom leadership and school administration, to ensure a strong fit for both the candidate and our school community. Training is likely to begin in late July, with our school year starting in August.
