Valencia College is now hiring two Learning Assistant II (Tutors) to join the Learning Support Center tutoring team at the Downtown campus. This position will be supporting students with Math and/or Science.
The ideal candidate will have:- Previous tutoring experience
- Successfully completed one or more of the following courses:
- Biology
:
Biological Science, Biology I, Biology II, Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II - Chemistry
:
Chemistry in Everyday Life, Introduction to General Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II - Math
:
Developmental Math, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Liberal Arts Mathematics I/II (or Mathematical Thinking or Mathematics in Context), Statistical Methods

- This position operates in a Fully Onsite environment.
