INSTRUCTOR - 21st Site Coordinator

Job Summary

Manage the daily operations of an Orlando After‑School All‑Stars (Orlando ASAS) after‑school and/or summer program, to ensure that the educational, behavioral, and financial objectives of the program and the needs of the staff, youth, families, and the public are met. Perform supervisory work under the direction of the Orlando ASAS Program Coordinators.

• Plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all activities and services offered at an Orlando ASAS program site.
• Ensure student and staff safety for after‑school and summer programs.
• Accurately and timely report individual staff and program scheduling, payroll, inventory, and youth attendance.
• Coordinate with partner middle school or community center administration for effective facility use and program scheduling.
• Implement Orlando ASAS policy and procedures in operations and curriculum at the program site.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to Orlando ASAS program goals and objectives.
• Work results are reviewed through reports, observation, performance evaluations, and conferences.
• Employees may be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and outdoors in extreme heat, insects, and weather conditions.

• Pursuing a degree in Recreation or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
• One year of experience in program management, or a supervisory role in educational, recreation, or leisure services overseeing various activities such as educational programs, youth sports, aquatics, cultural and therapeutic arts, health and fitness, community centers.
• Valid Florida Driver License.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are desired.
• Certification by the Florida Recreation and Park Association preferred.
• Work is part‑time with no guarantee of a certain number of hours and no benefits.
