Role DescriptionThe Part-Time Teacher will deliver in-person instruction to K-12 homeschool students in small group settings at our Greater Orlando location. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and implementing lesson plans aligned with appropriate grade-level standards, facilitating interactive learning activities, and assessing student progress through assignments, discussions, and informal evaluations. The teacher will collaborate with families to support individual learning goals, maintain accurate records of student performance, and provide regular feedback.
This is a part-time, on-site role that requires consistent classroom presence, adherence to organizational policies, and participation in occasional meetings or training sessions.
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience working with K-12 learners in small group or classroom settings.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including the ability to design structured, engaging, and age-appropriate instructional materials.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to interact with students, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Training or instructional skills, including the ability to guide learners with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred; teaching certification or homeschool teaching experience is an advantage.
- Ability to manage a small classroom, maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, and follow safety and organizational guidelines.
- Comfort working with homeschool families and adapting to varied curricula; experience in Greater Orlando or familiarity with local community needs is beneficial.
