Impact Director

The Impact Director () is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day programmatic operations, ensuring the achievement of City Year's mission and overall service excellence through the successful implementation of the Whole School Whole Child service model by managing and developing Impact Managers and corps members to build and cultivate strong school partnerships and developing a group of committed, idealistic leaders and school practitioners;

the successful completion of transformational physical service days and volunteer engagement; and ensuring an impactful and inspirational corps experience as well as corps member development. Impact Directors supervise Impact Managers, oversee the members in their program, ensure a strong service impact, create opportunities for engaging outside volunteers/visitors, foster opportunities for member development and support the overall efforts of City Year's mission statement.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Impact (MDI), the Impact Director () is responsible for collaborating with the Director of Service and Learning (DSL) and Impact Managers (IM) to support the implementation of the Whole School Whole Child model within the Impact Department, as well as, helping to develop and implement City Year Orlando's educational partnerships, vision, and measurable impact.

The  work closely with the Director of Service and Learning to train, implement, and evaluate outcomes of the strategic education plan, WSWC model, Early Warning Indicator meetings, collection and collation of student level data, and ensure that all Ameri Corps, City Year, and school district site education goals are met.

The  ensure the implementation of WSWC with fidelity to the model. This role will also directly serve as Impact Manager for one or more district schools, managing their assigned school's Student Success Coaches (SSC). Additionally, the  serve on the Impact Leadership Team (ILT), as well as, help to support site-wide initiatives and projects.

Primary responsibilities for this role include Impact Department implementation of WSWC, maintaining positive relationships with school-level staff, data access and district agreements, evaluation, adhering to the Impact Department budget management, and SSC learning and development. The  uphold program and service-based operating policies and procedures consistent with the organization's culture and desired results.

Primary responsibilities include ensuring a high level of quality, detail, and measurable impact with students off-track from high school graduation. The  with the MDI to identify and communicate City Year Orlando's long-term impact strategy in order to achieve long-term impact goals. This includes developing education partnerships and maintaining sustainable district relationships.

The  responsible for routine communication to key stakeholders supporting the mission, such as with Volunteer Florida. The  work closely with the Impact Leadership Team to make sure the message and implementation of service are aligned (especially the weekly/bi-weekly Early Warning Indicator meetings).

BUILD CONDITIONS FOR SUCCESS IN SCHOOL(S)

For the school(s) directly managed by the Impact Director, the  build and cultivate strong partnerships with teachers, principals, school officials, and other key decision makers and stakeholders. The  implementation of partnership agreement between the school and City Year Orlando. They ensure the necessary conditions and resources are in place for their team of Ameri Corps members to deliver attendance, behavior, and course performance interventions for students.

Additionally, the  City Year's WSWC model with a high degree of quality to a targeted group of students at the right time, at assigned schoolhouse(s). They monitor data entry of SSCs to capture impact of WSWC on students and make data-informed decisions to ensure tutoring, classroom support, after school programs, and school-wide initiatives align with the shared goals of the school/City Year partnership.

AMERICORPS MEMBER EXPERIENCE

The , coaches, and develops up to 10 Ameri Corps members through a personally rewarding year of service OCPS, where they achieve service performance and standards requirements while reaching their leadership development potential. The s leadership that is fueled by City Year's values, while facilitating ongoing dialogues that empower Ameri Corps members to relate to our values in personally meaningful ways.

In addition, the Impact Director will support recruitment of new Ameri Corps members and current members to complete a second year of service.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

The  be responsible for understanding the current education environment in the city of Orlando and within OCPS. He/she will lead on understanding and presenting the organization to OCPS district staff.
