City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and small group academic support to students in partner public schools
• Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and social-emotional growth
• Track and report student progress using established tools and data systems
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to reinforce classroom instruction and interventions
• Participate in City Year trainings, team meetings, and community service projects
• Support school-wide events, attendance initiatives, and family engagement activities
