The program focuses on fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning through hands-on, child-centered activities. Learners receive individualized attention that supports their academic, social, and emotional growth. setting provides a calm, respectful atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.

There are only 6 children ages 3 to 4 years in this class.

The Montessori Homeschool Teaching Assistant will support the lead educator in facilitating daily learning activities and maintaining an organized, child-centered classroom environment. This part-time, on-site role in Orlando, FL includes preparing materials, setting up lessons, and guiding children through Montessori-based lessons under the direction of the lead teacher. Responsibilities include assisting with small group work, offering one-on-one support, observing and documenting student progress, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and respectful learning space.

• Demonstrated skills in Teaching or Assistant Teaching and classroom support, preferably in a Montessori or child-centered educational setting.
• Strong Communication abilities, including clear, respectful interaction with children, families, and colleagues.
• Experience Working With Children in small-group or one-on-one environments, with a calm and patient approach.
• Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment and follow established routines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or training in early childhood education or Montessori is a plus.
• Reliable attendance, willingness to learn, and alignment with Enlighten Montessori’s values of respect, independence, and curiosity.
