Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail lesson studio. In this role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, build customized lesson plans, and prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances. You will collaborate with store staff and school service reps to support music education in the community and help connect families with appropriate instruments and accessories.

Ideal candidates have teaching or performance experience, strong communication skills, and a student-focused, service-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Assess student progress and provide clear feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with store staff and school service representatives to support local music programs
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and learning materials
• Maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming lesson studio environment
• Accurately record attendance, scheduling, and basic lesson documentation
