Parkland Children's Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Floater/Teacher Assistant to join our team in Parkland, FL! Responsibilities:- Float between classrooms to provide support to lead teachers and maintain proper student-to-teacher ratios
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities for early childhood learners
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and transitions
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding children's progress and needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces
- Prior experience in a childcare, early childhood education, or classroom setting preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively across multiple classrooms and age groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
- Must meet Florida DCF childcare background screening requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patient, dependable, and passionate about working with young children
