• Create a welcoming, responsive, and learning-centered library environment that promotes academic success, student engagement, scholarly inquiry, and positive student experiences.
• Design, prepare, and deliver engaging instruction in information literacy, research skills, and current library technologies to students, faculty, and staff across all modalities.
• Develop instructional materials and provide timely, constructive feedback that supports student learning, information literacy, and research competencies.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate library instruction and resources into the curriculum across disciplines and delivery modes.
• Support learning through collaboration, exploration, and independent study.

• A Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution with a major in Library Science from an ALA accredited program is required OR 18 graduate semester hours in Library Science from an ALA accredited program and a Master’s degree.
• Reference experience in an academic library [Preferred]
• Experience in library instruction and research [Preferred]
• Ability to deliver engaging library instruction through workshops, embedded sessions, and one-on-one consultations.
• Ability to effectively use innovative technologies and flexible teaching methods, including online and hybrid formats, educational software, and digital tools.
• Adaptability and willingness to explore new technologies and instructional approaches to support all learners.
