Research Assistant

The Research Assistant will assist the Professor in her scholarly work and coursework related to Constitutional Law and Criminal Procedure. The position entails conducting research, reading sources and determining whether they fit within the research agenda, compiling a bibliography, and proofreading and editing drafts of the professor’s works. Strong legal research, reading comprehension, critical analysis, writing and grammar, organization, time management, and communication skills are necessary for the position.

Applicants must be reliable, detail-oriented and thorough, able to work with little supervision, and self-motivated and must provide weekly updates, without being prompted, on the status of research projects.
