We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Production Technician. This is an operations position that requires shift work.

Shift schedule: 12‑hour rotating shifts 0600‑1800 and 1800‑0600. The selected candidate will operate a combined cycle power plant in Orlando, Florida and a simple cycle power plant in Cocoa, Florida. Other duties include maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Two years power plant, industrial turbine, or equivalent military experience.
• Combined cycle operations experience highly desirable.
• Practical knowledge of both the Rankine and Brayton operating cycles.
• Experience with a computer maintenance management system (e.g., Maximo).
• Experience with GE MK and Emerson Ovation control systems.
• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.

Employees in this position perform power plant operations as well as maintenance on station equipment.

• Repairs and calibrates equipment.
• Monitors equipment performance through testing.
• Applies general electrical, mechanical, or I&C skills.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

• High School graduate or GED.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years.
• Valid driver’s license (non‑CDL).
