EHS Coordinator

Position: EHS Coordinator 3
Our client, a leader in construction safety and project management, is seeking an EHS Coordinator 3 to join their team. As an EHS Coordinator 3, you will be part of the safety and compliance department supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $40/hr.

** Shift:
** 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (may require occasional early/late work or weekends)

** What's the Job?*
* + Oversee and enforce safety protocols on-site to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

+ Conduct daily safety inspections and audits of work areas, equipment, and operational practices.

+ Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe work environment.

+ Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for all site personnel.

+ Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations; develop and document corrective and preventive action plans.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of EHS experience in construction safety.

+ OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.

+ Willingness to obtain CHST, ASP, or CSP certification within 6 months.

+ Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.

+ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
