Maintenance Services Representative – A&P Mechanic, Orlando, Florida (MCO) – Orlando International Airport
Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) is looking to hire one or more A&P Licensed Mechanics (or soon to be licensed) Avionics/Aviation Mechanics to join our team to work on, replace and maintain In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems on aircraft for major airlines. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with competitive benefits and career growth opportunities.
Hourly rates range from $30.66 to $41.83 based on years of experience and applicable licenses.

Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to PAC IFE systems on aircraft in accordance with FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA regulations. This includes troubleshooting and testing electronic assemblies and units, removal and replacement of assemblies or cabling while installed in the aircraft, and modification/alteration of installed equipment.
- Aircraft/IFE Maintenance and Support: perform built-in test (BIT) and manual tests of PAC IFE systems; troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, or seat consoles to line replaceable modules; identify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance; operate vehicles on airport property and around aircraft; operate airline communications equipment; communicate and interface with customers.
- Administrative/Documentation: document testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment; receive and prepare parts; assist in tracking spares inventory; perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years related industry experience preferred.
- Appropriate academic/technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing, FAA A&P.
- Ability to pass extensive security and background checks.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, manuals and verbal English.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook (MS Office).
- Knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting typically gained through aviation, military experience, or technical school with 1–2 years of related industry experience.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment; determine methods for new assignments; solve problems with judgment and initiative; work as a skilled specialist to complete tasks resourcefully.
- Travel up to 25% (international and domestic) to other line station locations as needed.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and meet airport access requirements.
- Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and parts; ability to climb ladders or platforms; endure extended sitting, standing, bending or twisting; lift up to 50 pounds; operate under extreme weather and in confined spaces.
- Exposure to varying environmental conditions, noise, and congestion as required.
