GHP Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route of residential customers.
• Conduct interior and exterior inspections to identify conditions conducive to pests.
• Safely drive a company vehicle.
• Walk, kneel, squat, and stand for long periods, including up to 7 miles per day, and climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers.
• Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents.
• Provide customers with general information about services.
• Conduct service calls as needed.
• Problem‑solve and resolve complaints.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator when required.
• Lift or move up to 50lbs.
• Use portable ladders safely within manufacturer specifications and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain excellent listening and communication skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, manage route-based work, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• Relationship building and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Not fearful of bugs, snakes, rodents, or tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Able to navigate daily routes with GPS and manage schedule using handheld computerized equipment.
• Competent with new technology and organized in managing daily route.
• Willing and able to comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Preferred:
  Pest control experience, experience working outdoors, and sales experience.
