Field IT Support Specialist

Role Summary

We're looking for a hands‑on, motivated IT Technician to keep our sites running from Micrologic wash equipment to the network, POS, cameras, and access control systems behind every location. You'll split your time between the field and the office, working directly with Site Managers and our operations team to troubleshoot issues, support installs, and keep every wash online.

• Provide onsite and remote/phone troubleshooting for Micrologic equipment and software across all locations, including night‑shift support so fixes don't interrupt site operations.
• Support and maintain site network infrastructure, POS systems, cameras, and access control alongside the wash equipment itself.
• Manage Micrologic equipment and software installations to ensure new and remodeled sites open on time.
• Run planned site visits to proactively check Micrologic functionality and catch issues before they become downtime.
• Assist Site Managers with day‑to‑day troubleshooting, both onsite and over the phone, and know when to elevate.
• Document site issues in detail and present clear notes to Micrologic phone support and other vendors to speed up resolution.
• Plan and coordinate replacement equipment installations with site staff as needed.
• Develop project plans and timelines for larger installations or systems rollouts and keep cross‑functional teams aligned on roles and deadlines.
• Report project and ticket progress to the leadership team, flagging risks and recommending improvements.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policy, and relevant codes and standards.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or IT coursework is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in a leadership or high‑performing role at El Car Wash (e.g., Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Key Holder, or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in technology and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of computers, mobile devices, networking, or POS systems, or a willingness to learn.
• Proven ability to diagnose problems, think critically, and resolve issues in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and document work accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams, vendors, and corporate partners.
• Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while knowing when to elevate issues.
• Willingness to travel regularly between company locations and provide occasional evening or after‑hours support when needed.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and develop the skills needed to grow within the Technology organization.

• This position requires extensive travel of 900% or more including both in‑state and out‑of‑state trips, based on business needs. Travel may also include weekends and holidays as required.
