HSE Advisor - Offshore Execution

SGRE are seekingan experienced HSE Advisor with extensive knowledge of Wind Turbineconstruction to support the safe execution of our upcoming Offshore Wind Farm Projects

You will proactively support the site management team by providing leadership, demonstrating and promotingresponsible attitudes towards HSE, implementing best practice with regards to HSEstandards and contributing towards the delivery of the overall business HSEstrategy.

The HSE Advisor will coordinate with SGRE internal workforce and external contractors to ensure that a suitableand sufficient Safe system of work is in place prior to works being undertaken and liaise with site supervisors to monitor that this is adhered to during the execution of works.

The HSE Advisor ensures that SGREand their contractors comply with Environmental, Health and Safety Legislation,SGRE standards, Customer and Site requirements.

• Support the SGRE site management team to discharge their duties in line with SGRE procedures andlocal legal regulations

• Monitor site emergency preparedness readiness and that SGRE and contractorspractice effective pre-job planning

• Engage with, and promote theuse of Enablon as a reporting tool for safety observations and proactiveinspections

• Monitor that safetyobservation reports are followed up, in conjunction with site management colleagues where appropriate, ensuring proportionate investigation of eachoccurrence is completed and corrective/preventative actions are effectively implemented where applicable.

• Carry out analysis ofsafety observations, actioning any identified trends through awareness schemesor other appropriate actions.

• Participate in planning/coordination meetings to ensure works are safely interfaced with other operations on the site

• Five years’ experience in an HSE role in the Wind Turbine Construction/maintenanceindustry and Bachelor'sDegree in HSE or an Engineering discipline preferred

• Recognized HSE Qualification

• Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team

• High capability with various office and cloud-based software

• This position is field-based and will encompass rotationalshifts

• The role will require applicants to be fit to work Offshore - Applicants must be comfortable with working at height

This role may be based in various locations across the United States. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. Details regarding our benefits can be found here:  The base salary range for this position varies by location. For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $70,000 to $116,000 annually.

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
