C&S is looking for a civil design engineer to grow their career with airport design projects. Candidates do not need prior airport project experience and only need a strong design background and the desire to work on airport projects. In this role the engineer will provide technical oversight and support to junior engineers, write technical specifications, assist with design reports and serve as the technical lead on various Florida airport design projects.

• Utility corridors and runway pavements
• Sustainability plans
• Updating grading and drainage
• Transportation planning and design
• Land use and capital improvement plans
• Facilities civil engineering and planning
• Design for centralized receiving and distribution centers
• All aspects of airfield infrastructure
• Optimization of long‑term operating and maintenance costs

Minimal travel will be required as many of the projects for this position will be within Florida. In this role the individual has the potential to be invited into future ownership within the company.

• BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 8+ years of experience
• Strong civil design background required with prior experience working on transportation design, site civil design or related civil design field with a desire to work on airport projects. Prior experience working on airport design projects is not required.
• AutoCAD experience preferred but candidates with Micro Station experience will be considered as long as they possess the desire to transition into AutoCAD.
