Job Description Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our Air Dominance program team in Orlando, Florida. As a key leader in our organization, you will oversee a growing team of manufacturing engineers responsible for driving the success of our production programs. What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of manufacturing engineers in providing Design for Manufacture input on development and production programs.
* Transition new or revised designs from development to production, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
* Develop and manage proposal estimates, leveraging expertise in manufacturing processes and costs.
* Lead manufacturing process validation activities, driving quality and efficiency in our production operations.
* Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives, improving overall program profitability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks to production, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Provide manufacturing support to Lockheed Martin and supplier factories, ensuring alignment and optimal performance.
* Manage program-related manufacturing and tooling issues as they arise. Collaboration and Communication:
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the United States, including manufacturing engineers, design engineers, quality engineers, global supply chain professionals, finance teams, production planning and control specialists, contracts experts, and program managers.
* Communicate effectively across functional and physical boundaries, ensuring alignment and coordination among diverse teams.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or higher degree in technical discipline (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, etc.)
• Demonstrated an ability to work strategically as well as tactically to drive operations.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and developing enduring business relationships
• Ability to liaison between Production Operations, Manufacturing Sites, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Ability to travel domestically

• Experience with design for automation & automation of manufacturing processes
• Knowledge & experience of additive manufacturing processes, materials, & application
• Experience with model based engineering
• Experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software

• System Cost Account Manager experience
• Experience with leading teams
• Experience working with government customers
