Harris Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Environmental Health & Safety Engineer
. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environment, health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations, work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS, and assist in a variety of duties to include daily safety interactions, sampling, observations, training and inspections.

Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning, building expansions and/or other changes in facilities or work areas to ensure EHS requirements and regulations are met. Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist. Responsible for monitoring, driving, and reporting on sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure that safety procedures and rules are followed on the manufacturing floor, as well as at the off-site assembly and processing areas.
