THE WORK The F-35 Training System Risk Manager leads Risk and Opportunity Management for F-35 Training Systems across a portfolio of interconnected development, production and sustainment programs.
This role requires a driven leader with demonstrated expertise in engineering, program management, and risk analysis. The Risk Manager should be adept at working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop an enterprise approach to manage risk cohesively across a portfolio of interdependent programs in an agile environment
• Lead the risk and opportunity management process ensuring that risks are effectively identified, mitigated and controlled
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, schedulers, financial analysts and other stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills and experience leading diverse, distributed and virtual teams
• Subject matter expertise in risk and opportunity management principles, methodologies and best practices
• Adept at working with matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs
• Proven ability to identify, influence, and build strong relationships with decision makers and maintain long-term customer intimacy
• Ability to partner with peers across Lockheed Martin Business Units
• Demonstrated business acumen to include experience in EVMS and performance metrics
• Strong communication and presentation Skills
• Be willing and able to travel as required
• Ability to obtain Secret SAR clearances
Desired
Skills:
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops and Agile development
• Technical engineering system development, production and sustainment experience
• Active Secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years
• Program Manager level 2 certified
• Experience in the Training and Simulation domain
• Knowledge of the F-35 Program
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
