Duration: 12 months Security Clearance:
Ability to Obtain Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.

* Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.

* Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.

* Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.

* Supports the senior CMM programmers to develop ultra-precision processes.
Required Experience
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience with all of the below:

* This position requires proficiency in GD&T, experience generating inspection processes, programming CMMs, and determining part acceptance.

* Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies).

* Knowledge of GD&T and its application in CMM programming

* Completion of Zeiss Basic course required. Would also like candidate to have Zeiss Advanced and Curve/Free Form courses.

* Knowledge of CMM programming software (e.g. Zeiss Calypso)
