Mid Level Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have successfully obtained obtain a Professional Engineer's License and is excited about designing buildings and pedestrian bridges.

• Performing structural calculations for the design and analysis of concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and light gauge building structures under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Assist the senior engineering and drafting staff with production of construction drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables.
• Assist the engineering staff with field visits during construction and field measuring.
• Develop construction documents and calculation packages with limited oversight for smaller projects.

• 4 – 8 years experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration
• Experience designing building structures and foundations using steel, concrete, cold-formed steel, wood, and masonry
• Working knowledge of Florida Building Code (or International Building Code) and ASCE 7
• Working Knowledge of Structural Engineering Software such as RISA 3D or RAM Structural
• Working Knowledge of Revit Structural and Autocad
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Organizational skills
• Strong Professional Skills (punctual, attendance, conduct, and responsiveness)
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and clients
• Knowledge of English language including spelling, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
