JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining and integrating project implementation plans and associated project schedules throughout the project life cycle to include show/ride concept development, show, ride, facility, area development designs, building construction, show/ride production, installation and/or commissioning. This includes creating project schedules, collecting progress status, integrating necessary changes, updating reports, distributing project schedules and reports, incorporating client activities, tracking current resources and forecasting future resource needs based on the project master schedule.

MAJOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops and statuses project schedules using Primavera and other scheduling software programs and incorporates deliverables and implementation strategies into project plans and schedules as strategies evolve.
  • Coordinates with internal and external responsible teams to develop and integrate activity durations and logic sequences to perform the work. Coordinates with the Multi-year Capital Planning team to schedule future year program. Identify and create solutions to minimize operational impacts.
  • Creates summary level reports, extracted from Primavera or other scheduling tools that provides high level summary of project status. Evaluates and resolves variances and develops work-around plans.
  • Coordinates with project management team across various functions to ensure schedule information is accurately statused on a weekly basis.
  • Assists in development of new schedule details or other schedule maintenance activities.
  • Conducts resource loading analysis as required.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or an applicable field required.
  • Education requirements may be mitigated with additional years of experience.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years engineering/construction planning and scheduling experience required
  • 3+ years theme park planning/coordination experience preferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
