As a Six Sigma Master Black Belt (Senior Engineering Black Belt), you combine advanced statistical expertise with a modern, forward-thinking approach to problem solving. Join our diverse Gas Services (GS) team and help shape the next generation of continuous improvement in our booming and highly technical business. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our engineering experts in Orlando, FL and with leaders across the globe to drive Six Sigma excellence in business areas facing complex technical challenges.

You’ll Make an Impact
  • Shape a modern Six Sigma approach within our broader Lean@GS program.
  • Rethink Six Sigma to fully leverage evolving opportunities enabled by AI and digitalization.
  • Train and coach Green Belts, Black Belts, and functional experts in advanced statistical methods and analytical thinking, enabling rigorous and confident problem solving.
  • Support partner organizations and management in identifying and executing Six Sigma improvement projects in key focus areas such as engineering, blade, and vane operations.
  • Build and sustain a strong improvement network by motivating employees to engage in the Six Sigma community, demonstrating value through relevance, measurable impact, and strong collaboration.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt required;
    Six Sigma Master Black Belt preferred.
  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience leading data‑driven improvement initiatives in complex technical environments such as engineering, materials, and high‑tech manufacturing.
  • Statistical and quality methodologies application experience, including complex statistical and quality analyses applied to high‑impact production, and operational challenges, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Engineering design experience or regular collaboration with engineering design teams, applying data‑driven analysis to support design decisions, validation, or optimization.
  • Multivariate regression modeling (linear and non‑linear) experience to analyze relationships and quantify key drivers in technical environments.
  • Machine learning techniques and practical experience applying them to industrial, engineering, or quality‑related data.
  • Design of Experiments (DOE) experience, including the ability to design, execute, and interpret experiments in material, component or technology development.
  • Reliability statistics experience, including life‑data analysis, to assess performance, risk, and robustness of components or products.
  • Mastery of statistical software such as Minitab, Python and/or R to support advanced statistical analysis previously mentioned.
  • A modern, flexible mindset that views Six Sigma as an evolving discipline compatible with Generative AI, digitalization, Lean principles, and emerging problem‑solving approaches.
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers low‑emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
