Circuit Card Design Engineer Senior

Description

You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control programs. Our team designs, evaluates, and qualifies circuit cards and test hardware that keep mission critical systems operating reliably in harsh, radiation rich environments such as space based platforms.

• Supporting development of multiple circuit card assemblies for complex systems
• Defining, refining, and documenting system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements
• Conducting trade studies to evaluate design options and recommending optimal implementations
• Capturing schematics and collaborating with EPCAD to create layout and signal routing solutions
• Owning end to end circuit card designs and delivering all data and evidence required for Design Assurance reviews
• Working with systems, electro mechanical, programmable logic/software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing
• Generating and maintaining architecture diagrams, requirements packages, and trade study reports
• Managing bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build up activities
• Verifying compliance with radiation, shock, vibration, and other environmental qualification standards

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with circuit card design, integration, and test for digital electronics
• Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture
• Experience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis
• Ability to work on site 3 days a week

• Experience with MFC circuit card design processes
• Experience with military standards and specifications
• Experience with HWIL
• Experience with ESAF or FTS
• Experience with discrete analog circuit design
• Experience with Missile systems
• Experience with Missile Safety

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The position requires a Final secret clearance prior to start. Clearance Level: Secret.
